- 5 / 5By Tamsin WilliamsThis is a gem of a find. The decor was military themed and we all enjoyed looking at the items and seeing where they were from. Dog friendly (the proprietor gives them treats) and has a children's licence so all the family can visit. It serves an amazing selection of whisky. The kids had freshly cooked chicken nuggets and we all had connoisseur pies and amazing home cooked chips. The pies were to die for. Mine was a 'moo and blue' with steak and Stilton and I was actually silent while I savoured the taste bite by bite! It doesn't take cards but there is a cash point on the high street and no hot drinks making this pub a proper pub! I can't wait to return and savour more of the treats they had to offer.September 18, 2016
